From what i have seen she was fighting metal health issues & addiction. No she didn't want to be alone, her mother abandoned her as a child. Well that's going to impact any child and growing into adult life. She felt like every one who she came close too, leaves her and it brought her so much emotional pain. To me I think what she didn't get from her childhood, and that one person she needed it from she didn't get it. So she seeked in other women. The behaviour " I need you, don't never leave me, " love me love me") she seemed to have ( child regression) hence her unpredictable moods too ( reffering her " she was needy" ) very much like a child. Well its clear that's what she was dealing with, that was not Gia's fault. The ' self destruction ' I say trauma that wasn't dealt with. That's the reason why she didn't want to be alone, and many of Gia's behaviour i think. I personally don't think Gia got the right help mentally, emotionally and physically clearly, in many aspects of Gia and her short tragic heartbreaking life. I see she was broken behind the makeup and the cameras. Felt to me Gia had a front and people around her seen Gia, differently from what it actually was. From what i see she was suffering clear as day with mental health issues they wasn't known back then. And people who knew her, didn't help her. That little girl inside of her wanted love attention, and she didn't want to be abandoned again. She seemed to have this chroic emptiness her job didn't fill that. I think she learned how to numb all that in unhealthy ways. She had unhealthy coping mechanisms that wasn't healthy, she wasn't shown nor taught how too. Her deep sense of not wanting to be alone, needing someone to be there with her all the time she was frightened too. She was clearly in alot of deep emotional pain. She wanted to be loved unconditionally and to feel she was wanted. She never got that. When that's all she wanted and craved from what I seen. God bless her soul.

Thank you, Sandy. This was painful for you to make. ❤ not easy. I don't feel so lonely any more. My 22 year old ex gf, committed suicide shortly after I moved to Hawai'i. I was her maternal figure and her Flamenco career sponsor, and she couldn't handle the break-up. I met her when she was 19. She suddenly moved into my house after 6 months of friendship. I was 33, very busy as the largest commodity importer, specializing in tree nuts, ground nuts and coconuts into Tokyo. I had to fly a lot. The first night she moved in, I came home and quietly watched her wash rice with dish soap. She rinsed it well. Yes, rice had fragrance that night. I taught her how to cook, save, invest, and travel. Sent her to Spanish classes because she was a promising rising star Flamenco dancer. She didn't have a maternal figure, so she took me everywhere she went. I helped her get a job at a large bank so that she can save and invest. When I was too busy or out of the country, this gf used to party and sleep with all kinds of people in the film, dance, music industry. We went to STI testing together before I took off for a business trip and after I returned. Her separation anxiety was off the roof. I couldn't even go shopping or a concert with my friends. If we went to see a movie, she would have her hand in my lingerie. I ate 2 packs of Unagi, 1/4 salmon, 8 scallops a day for stamina. She was up til late and she was on top of me when I was sleeping. She threw away my entire closet one day and forced me to buy 4 seasons of clothes all over again. She was heading to Spain. I was headed to Hawai'i to study. She didn't want to come. I gave her my house and everything in it so that she doesn't have to move. Unprocessed childhood trauma made her extremely introverted until she picked up Flamenco and spoke Spanish, she looked just fine. She wasn't. Clearly, Gia's death is a simple mental health care failure, complete lack of early intervention in the USA. Had she been cared for early in childhood, she wouldn't have been shooting up hard drugs. Children have the right to appropriate social and wellness care. That's by law that is not enforced. To my traditional Japanese eyes, Americans don't like to spend taxes on seniors and children. They prefer to spend a $1 trillion on violence and propaganda. The oligarchs spend half a trillion on s*xually abusing with tra**icked children under 20. Americans should be ashamed of failing on so many children and adults. Terrible. She would be alive and well had she had the right meditation mentor, holistic physical care, LGBTQ mentorships, and lifecoach or a retired model professional care taker. Gia's death is not a drug problem nor an epidemic problem. This is a byproduct of child neglect, motherless small children, LGBTQ+ child neglect, sexually objectification of female teens, immense wealth at a young age with no mentorship, no investment consultants, sexual abuse in exchange for a chance in life, and eager drug dealers that infest the industry. Gia could have been any child. It could have been my child. I adopted 5 that would have suffered like Gia did had I not adopted. Compared to older civilizations, Americans get married carelessly and have children accidently due to religious reasons where A is condemned. The country is a well designed kitchen with a perfect disaster recipe. Children are having children. In my culture, a boy becomes a full man around 32 to 35 with social standing in community, smooth mortgage payments and emotional intelligence. A girl becomes a woman at 27 to 32 years old. Her body and hormones fully developed, mastered in communities, have experience with family by helping older adults, emotional intelligence and confidence in keeping her family together. Angelina Jolie was so brave to have acted Gia Carangi. I would have declined the offer. It's too painful. It must have been triggering for Angelina with a similar past of missing a father, being bisexual, experienced chemical dependence, having a dark side, loving knives, the industry taking advantage of her. Because she is pretty, with a hot body, and came with Hollywood money Angelina must have been reliving her own trauma with Gia living inside her even today. I can see Gia is living inside Angelina. I adopted 5 children. I totally understand why Angelina adopted children and why she had to walk away from an alcoholic selfish man with no emotional intelligence. Children will maladapt and live a pattern to tolerate abuses to protect themselves and enable further abuses. Children will even protect their abusers as a result of forced attachments. These teens gravitate s*xually abusive men or women and don't even know that they are getting further hurt. As a w4w cis female with bonded gfs, had we known Gia, we definitely would have platonically dated Gia Carangi for 6 months, held her in our arms like holding an infant, all day and night, took her to a detox luxury resort on an island with no access to drugs, would have visited her every day for 6 months. When she got out, we would have married her as soon as she accepts us as her polygamous partners. Yes, probably within 7 months of knowing her. She needed to learn to bond, trust, be loved as family, she needed an anchor and a maternal figure. Gia would have had her cheeks on my soft silky Asian C cup breast at home, in the hotels on her business trips, in her dressing rooms. If she so desired, I would have lactated for her. I have never lactated in my life but for Gia to learn to calm down, bond, trust, and communicate vulnerably, I would have breastfed her for 2 years if it was something her therapist approved and my doctor approaved. I accidently found out about breastfeeding adults because one of my gfs shared custody of her baby with her ex. Her breast would hurt and pumping took so long to relieve her or she would be out of the house. One day, when we were out together, she needed to release her milk and was hurting. She pulled me into the backseat of my car. I didn't know what was going on. She cried and asked very politely with a tingle of shame. I found out what breastfeeding does with a full awareness at Gia's age. Don't get sick or upset reading this. Lactating mothers without the baby with her, suffer emotionally. It's like half of your body is missing, lonely, and not needed. My latching on and holding eye contact with my gf was helpful for the both of us. I create wealth by investing, and online and would have taught Gia how to. I have trained female escorts, models, actors, exotic dancers, and erotic influencers. Many have completely retired in 7 years. Never have to take their clothes off again or sleep with men just to stay in business. Gia could have eased the stress and made her life more manageable. Supermodels need to spend more time to be themselves not what others paint them to be only to take advantage of them. Let me tell you something, everyone takes advantage of these beautiful ladies. It's brutal. So hard to watch. I find them in Dubai and Monte Carlo in the yachting communities. It's horrendous. I just learned the details of Gia the day before yesterday. My my. I cried all 2 nights. Stirred so many emotions in me. So many raw deep hidden emotions I've forgotten about. My parents sold be to a well known tra**icking organization in Japan with 34,000 slaves for the first time when I was 9. I understand, Gia like hand and glove. I am going to visit her grave next year spring. I might visit her annually. I'll visit her as a fellow woman who understands her pain. The day before yesterday, i picked up my pencil and large drawing paper. I decided to develope a new type of service for supermodels under 26. They need a beautiful, motherly, care taker, lifecoach with them at all times as they travel. It's not healthy for a teenager traveling all by herself with 6 figures, a stunning look and an erotic body. They need a specific type of professional with them. I will build a totally new type of service for supermodels and young female professionals that are often taken advantage of. I'll place the HQ in Sweden or somewhere sx work is legalized. Had Gia Carangi been given child trauma therapist, Somatic activities, WATSU therapist from the day her mother left her, all the way through her adulthood, with long distance sessions on demand when she traveled, she would be alive today. I will create an unique, exquisite, comprehensive discrete service for supermodels or similar ladies. I'll stay near Gia's grave next spring and will ask for advice. She just might open up. Sandy, Let's meet some time ❤ Note: Unkind replies are unwelcomed. Keep it to yourself.

People all over UA-cam saying they channeled Gia. I say this; A lot of things these people have said that claim to channel Gia, that information can be Googled, read in a book, found out from the documentaries about Gia, and sort of found out based on just using logic, and a lot of it is perspective. Gia was a drug addict and a woman,, so of course she did things with drug dealers to get her drugs when she had no money. That doesn't need to be channeled. How she may have caught it either sharing needles or s3x, an I.V. drug user and sex habits no need to channel that. Her family dysfunction, that's in the book. Was she broken before she became a model? Yup, could see that in her eyes. A time of s3x, drugs and Rock and Roll and Gia may have been participatory, logically yes. She had all kinds of s3x, yup, that was in the book. I am not trying to challenge what anyone says that they can do but a lot of what those people have said was in the book, documentaries and it can be Googled.

Gia and Whitney Houston story is very similar. My friend actually knew Whitney. He told me she was a lesbian way before her girlfriend Robyn came out with their story. I was surprised. Whitney Houston also was a model for the same agency. But Whitney was actually saved by Robyn she was always by her side as a friend should be. It all went down hill I believe when she met Bobby. Beautiful souls over taken by addictions and did not really have anyone by their sides who really cared enough. May both RIP.

I question if Gia was actually a lesbian or bi. Especially knowing about the age difference between the two of them! She had Wilhelmina until her death which sent her spiraling even more.
